I fixed this one a while back ...........................................

Slow Cooker Beef for Sandwiches, but when I mentioned my preps to the FodGuy, he wrinkled his nose & requested I make it with Mexican seasonings - did so {also added fresh jalapenos} - he REALLY liked it - our progeny & I like the Italian version - we ALL like 'em on onion rolls ............................... :;)

They sound really tasty, but I'd pass on the onion rolls :)

The onion rolls we get, at our little grocery store, aren't really heavy on the onion flavor - there are some toasted onion "flakes" on the exterior of what we call an 'egg roll' - the internal dough tends to a yellow tint, due to egg yolks ................... there isn't nearly the onion flavor one would find in, say, a Lender's brand onion bagel ....................... ;-)

Today -- July 3 -- is the Fortress of Crankitude's traditional Barbecued Pulled Pork day. The pork tenderloin has just come out of the slow cooker, and the whole house is redolent of it. Animals and importunate neighbors are gathering on the front porch as we speak.

For these delights, you need soft rolls, a big bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce...and plenty of napkins. Highly recommended for those who've tired of more conventional barbecue food.
