Just took a test yesterday ........................

turns out, I have ADD - next step is getting my doc to refer me to someone to do the official diagnostics, then see what's what as far as therapy {medication vs. "talking"} - I scored 94 out of 100 on the test ...................... :-( Some of the questions seemed to have nothing to do with what I thought were the constellation of symptoms, like irritability at petty stuff .........................

One of the things currently irritating me is NBC's choice of Conan O'Brien to take over The Tonight Show - never been much of a viewer, but I will NEVER watch it now - far as I'm concerned, Conan O'Brien would gag an army of maggots - he's of the same ilk as Will Ferrell or Jim Carrey, in most of his roles ............................

I'm hoping the medication of choice would be Adderall XR - as I said above, it's gonna be a matter of primary care doc to diagnostician {whether a psychiatrist or psychologist is still undetermined} - if it's a psychologist, of course, I'll then have to see someone else, who can prescribe ......................... :-(

I thoroughly enjoy his South African accent - it's been softened by his time in bayou country, so it's almost a pure lilt, rather than the harshness one heard in the Lethal Weapon installment, where the accent of the pro-apartheid cretins was so guttural ............................

Also, I had the opportunity of speaking with Miss D, prior to her winging her way back to the wilds of Alaska ........................ what a NICE lady - she's a bush pilot, up there in Alaska ........................

And so was Louis Armstrong, God rest his soul ..................... we were living in California, back in the early 60's; my Dad was an active duty Marine officer, my Mom was pregnant with my brother - we would go to the PX on a regular basis - one of the highlights of ANY visit to the Exchange was Mr. Goodloe, who always reminded me of Satchmo - a gentleman of color, who plied his trade as a shoeshine man, in the entry of the PX - Mr. Goodloe LIKED me - and I liked him - so much that, when we got near, I'd run ahead to hug him - my Dad's mom came for a visit after the birth of my brother - bear in mind, she'd been born in 1906 - one of her brothers was a member of the KKK, before something happened & he was confined to a wheelchair {karma, anyone?} - ANYhoo, my Mom thought my grandmother was going to faint dead away, when her towheaded little granddaughter went running up to a {GASP!} black man and threw her arms around his neck ......................... funny, the generational differences ..........................

{though after some review, when I change primary care docs, NO MORE meds that have acetaminophen as a component - there's entirely TOO MUCH of the stuff in TOO MANY different compounds - I was told last spring I have "cysts" on my liver - don't know that acetaminophen is a cause, but it ISN'T good for livers, long-term}

Had post-surg appointments with both surgeons this week - both are VERY pleased with my 'healing rate' - ENT said I was doing better than most who have my procedures .................... still keeping to soft foods {although I DID just have a couple of sausage/egg/cheese croissants from Jack in the Box}, due to the sutures all over. The oral surgeon checked nerve response today - even though there's still a degree of numbness, I can feel "direction" of a gently-applied cotton swab, 100% correct. Far as pain relief in future - Darvon - it's the part of Darvocet that ISN'T acetaminophen.

I have the need to apologize for my country's "leaders" - recent comments by "the Won" re: the Palestinian 'issue' & Israel's right to exist, are extremely troubling for most Americans- abandoning Israel is not an option; I'm HOPING more eyes are being opened as to the empty suit who now sits in the Oval Office. His insistence on Turkey's being admitted to the EU? Not really "our" business - it's up to the member nations of the EU. {Just like our sovereignty is our {Americans'} business.

Y'all thought I was gonna put post-surgical pictures up, dincha? NOT A CHANCE IN HE##, 'til I'm ~ 6 weeks post-op - there's too much swelling & bruising of the lower areas of my face right now - actually, bruising not so much, but swelling & bandanges that have to remain 'til tomorrow ................. for those not looped in, on Monday, I had a UPPP {uvalo-palato-pharyngoplasty} & genioglossus advancement - the advancement was to alleviate my TMJ, but when I went to the oral surgeon back in August {!!!}, HE was concerned because my airway was 1/3 the diameter it should be, so he sent me to an ENT, who agreed that a UPPP was necessary - problem was, our insurance wanted me to do a trial of a C-PAP - NOT an option {I've not always been real smart in my relationships, prior to the FodGuy - I was involved with a man who found it hilarious to cover my mouth & nose while I was sleeping, then laugh uproariously when I'd awaken in a panic, choking} - so, the docs had to have a peer-to-peer consultation with the insurance's docs, to justify UPPP surgery vs. C-PAP ......................... so, anyhoo, surgery went well {both surgeons expressed their pleasure at my response/recovery}, though I'm STILL not certain sure I didn't sound off like a drunken sailor when I was coming out of the anesthesia - per our progeny & the FodGuy, the cuss words I heard me saying weren't audible to them .................... ;-)

FEDS GRANT EMINENT DOMAIN AS COLLATERAL TO CHINA FOR U.S. DEBTS!

Beijing, China -- Sources at the United States Embassy in Beijing China have
just CONFIRMED to me that the United States of America has tendered to China
a written agreement which grants to the People's Republic of China, an
option to exercise Eminent Domain within the USA, as collateral for China's
continued purchase of US Treasury Notes and existing US Currency reserves!

The written agreement was brought to Beijing by Secretary of State Hillary
Clinton and was formalized and agreed-to during her recent trip to China.

This means that in the event the US Government defaults on its financial
obligations to China, the Communist Government of China would be permitted
to physically take -- inside the USA -- land, buildings, factories, perhaps
even entire cities - to satisfy the financial oligations of the US
government.

Put simply, the feds have now actually mortgaged the physical land and
property of all citizens and businesses in the United States. They have
given to a foreign power, their Constitutional power to "take" all of our
property, as actual collateral for continued Chinese funding of US deficit
spending and the continued carrying of US national debt.

This is an unimaginable betrayal of every man, woman and child in the USA.
An outrage worthy of violent overthrow.

I am endeavoring to obtain images or copies of the actual document but in
the interim, several different sources both in the US and in China have
CONFIRMED this to me.

Eminent Domain is the power of government to TAKE private property for
public use without the consent of the property owner. Under our
Constitution, the government can only "take" when providing "just
compensation for what they've taken.

Who decides what constitutes "just compensation?" The government!

Homeowners who felt the government was not paying them enough for property
in past "takings" have filed lawsuits. In absolutely every such case, the
value placed upon the property by the government was upheld by the courts.

Our federal government has now granted to China, this power to "take"our
homes and businesses in the event the US Gov't defaults on its debts. Let's
play this out as a worst case scenario . . . . .

The US Gov't goes belly-up and China comes in and says, "they owed us $2
Trillion in Treasury Notes and another $2 Trillion in actual cash money
which is now worthless. We are taking the entire state of Hawaii and the
entire state of California in lieu of this bad debt. "

With the stroke of a Chinese chop stick, Hawaii and California -- all the
land and buildings in those states -- are now owned by China.

The "taking" would be a "valid public use" because it was taken" in payment
of the public debt!!!!

China could then turn around and declare the value of all that land to be
worth. . . . .. I dunno, ten cents on a dollar?

For your $200,000 house, you get a Chinese check for $20,000.

Needless to say, the property owners would go ballistic and demand "just
compensation" for what was taken. Who gets to decide what is "just?" China!
Don't think you got a fair price for what they took? No problem, sue China.

You'll lose.

People who live in those states and own their land outright, might be able
to negotiate with China to "rent" back their own property, as long as the
property owner continued to pay all his taxes; but the land and buildings
would belong to China!

This is what our own Government has just done to us and it is the single
most vile act of betrayal in the history of human existence.

runaway spending.

The song will be performed at an event Saturday in Orlando, Fla., reports WND columnist Andrea Shea King, a radio talk show host on RadioPatriot.blogspot.com.

Written and performed by Lloyd Marcus, the song is directed to President Obama.

Lloyd's website describes him as believing conservatism is compassionate and "the true path to achieving the American Dream."

Three of Lloyd's paintings from his series titled, "STOREFRONTS: Reflections of Growing Up in his Preacher Dad's East Baltimore Church," achieved worldwide recognition when they were banned from a Florida city's Black History Month Exhibit. Marcus' art was banned for "religious themes."

While WND has been tracking 170 individual tea parties across the nation, one group has announced it is planning rallies in 1,000 cities and towns April 15.

The American Family Association, or AFA, is coordinating 1,000 Taxed Enough Already, or TEA, parties to be held at 12 p.m. in front of city halls across the nation.

The organization launched a Tea Party Day website just days ago so volunteer organizers can register their protests with AFA. The website also provides a list of other protests across the nation that are not organized by AFA.

Michael DePrimo, special counsel to AFA President Tim Wildmon, told WND that AFA has been inundated with e-mails from citizens who want to attend or organize tea parties in their own cities.
