Thanks to Holly the Goddess' reminding us

today is the anniversary of the Battle of San Jacinto, I'm watching the new version of The Alamo - while not a big fan of Billy Bob Thornton, his portrayal of Davy Crockett is excellent {"I gotta warn ya - I'm a screamer"} - any Texas historian who could point me to a good biography of Juan Seguin, I'd appreciate it - I know his life after Texas independance was less than pleasant ....................
